Happy New Year…Cheers to 2025 and 5 Years of Blogging

I realized I didn’t post last week but that Wednesday fell on Christmas day and then New Year’s Day also fell on Wednesday which are the days that I typically post. December is always an incredibly busy month for me because aside from Christmas, I have my husband’s birthday on Christmas, my birthday on December 28th, my wedding anniversary on December 22nd. I have so many happy and festive events this time of year which I look forward to every year!

It is hard to believe that I just celebrated my two year wedding anniversary as this second year went even faster than our first year married. I do believe that when life is good, your life tends to go by even faster. I guess also with age, the years go by faster which is why it is important to cherish every moment.

It is also hard to believe that I have been blogging for five years, that’s half a decade! I started this at the height of covid. I am happy that so much has changed since covid and that we can put that chapter of life in the past and move forward. Since covid, I can’t thank the Universe enough for all that I have manifested in my life. I preach a lot about manifestation and I can honestly say that it works with the right mindset, positivity, and patience. As I continue my life’s path, I know that more abundance and many great things are in the making. This includes the next big chapter of my life: Motherhood. Although this is not happening until a little later in 2025, I feel that I have reached that stage in life whereI am ready to take a break from blogging to focus on my future and the exciting chapter that is about to unfold this year. It is bittersweet to write this last blog entry but I am happy to have been a blogger for the past five years. I feel that my content has touched many lives and my readers can still access everything that I have written in the past. Thank you to everyone who read my blogs and subscribed. As I end this, I do want to wish everyone an amazing 2025!

Happy Thanksgiving With a Motivational Message : “Say Thank You In Advance for What Is Already Yours”

I know I have shared in the past, Denzel Washington’s “Fall Forward” speech which if you haven’t listened to it before, you should absolutely look it up if you need a little spiritual pick me up or you need a dose of motivation in your life.I just happened to discover another great message of his: “Say thank you in advance for what is already yours.” I couldn’t agree more with this statement! I am all for practicing gratitude on a daily basis because gratitude attracts even more abundance and happiness into your life. However, this message is even more empowering as it encourages you to not only be thankful for what you currently have but to also be thankful for the things that you are currently manifesting into your life–which are destined in your near future.

This Thanksgiving as we practice gratitude towards our loved ones and for all the things we are most thankful for–don’t forget to be thankful for what is already yours! 😉

Reality Vs. False Hope – It’s Time to Stop Living in La La Land

While an abundance of positivity and hope are two wonderful things to possess as we all navigate our lives, there does come a point where too much positivity and hope can actually blind you from reality and hinder you from living your best life. Sometimes people become so hopeful of their future that this causes them to not really take action towards their goals because they believe they can manifest anything in existence without any effort. As I hope many of you realize–this is so FAR from reality and a life in total la la land! The Universe is powerful and has much to offer to everyone but I like to remind people that it is not a genie bottle where you put a wish out there and it just comes into fruition. There is still conscious intent and inner work that needs to take place in order to make things happen.

As hard as it is to face reality at times, no matter what–you should always opt to live in REALITY. When you live with false hope, you usually end up more disappointed, you can stunt your self growth, and it could impact your ego negatively in the long run. When you live in reality, at least you are building more resilience and essentially are embracing the TRUTH. As harsh as reality can be, it is better to live in real life versus a sugar coated version of life. I encourage everyone to be super real with self when it comes to your expectations, goals, and aspirations. From there, you can work towards everything that you want and then you will receive everything you desire (and probably even more). The Universe will reward you with your efforts and you will feel good in knowing that you created your abundant reality all by yourself!

Rejection Is Redirection – Learn to Embrace This New Direction

Over the summer, I stumbled across a quote, “rejection is redirection.” I could not agree more with this quote! So often you see people react to rejection incredibly negatively. It can stir up emotions such as self doubt, frustration, depression, and basically put someone in a scarcity mindset. One starts to question, “What is wrong with me? Why am I a reject?” This is the wrong way to think! Rejection should never be taken as defeat. There are many ways to actually interpret rejection in a positive way such as: “The best is yet to come and something better is destined to manifest into my life.” “Let me look at this as a time to work on self improvement.”

If anything, rejection should serve as a MOTIVATING FACTOR to work harder at whatever it is that you want to achieve. It is not a time to give up on your goals or desires but to perhaps explore other options that will help you get to your end goal. If you decided to give up any time you failed at something or got rejected, you would never get ahead in life and would stay in a stagnant low place. You are also hindering yourself from self development by not investing the time that is needed to grow spiritually. So the next time you get rejected, accept it with grace and don’t feel bad about yourself. Look at this as an opportunity to improve your life and take the action that is needed to achieve your goals still–even if it takes you longer than you anticipated or means that you have to start over.

Relating back to the quote, sometimes rejection could also be a sign from the Universe that your goals need to shift and redirect in its entirety which might mean that new goals need to be established–and there is nothing wrong with that! Sometimes this is an inevitable reality and allows you to expand on other things you could achieve that you never had thought about previously. Remember that at the end of the day, under no circumstances should you let rejection get the best of you. There are often many silver linings in life and often rejection could lead to something much better in your life path even if you do not see that at the present moment. You have to continue to persevere and carry on with your life with a positive mindset.

The Best Time to Find Love In Your Life

Love is a mystical human experience that connects two souls together. For some people, they might find love very early in life–perhaps in their teenage years and they manage to marry their high school sweethearts and live happily ever after. Maybe for someone else, it could take a second marriage before finding their true soulmate. It is important to understand that every single individual is on their own unique path in finding love. It can come easier for some more than others but there should not be a deadline in your mind as to when you find this person. The reason being is that you can easily make a wrong decision and end up settling for someone who wasn’t “the one.” You have to remember that every dating experience was just a part of the journey into leading you to finding your soulmate. So never be discouraged if you go through long periods without a partner or through horrible breakups along the way. This collection of experiences will ultimately lead you to the greater good of finding true love if that is something that you want to manifest in your life. The best time to find love as I mentioned will vary from person to person since everyone is carving out their own unique path but there are a few basic principles you can follow that will allow you to get to your end goal.

When You are In Love With YOURSELF – As basic as this may sound, it truly is essential for you to love yourself first above anything else. If you don’t love yourself, how do you expect someone to love you? You also cannot expect to seek validation from others in order to build more love for yourself because it truly needs to come from WITHIN. You need to find ways to accept and love yourself for both the good and the bad with a focus on all the GOOD things that you have to offer to the world.

When You are Not Really Looking – I know this can sound counterintuitive to many but it is amazing how love can find ways to find you when you are not proactively looking. The reason for this is that when you are too hungry for love, it can actually have the opposite effect and put into the Universe a needy vibration which naturally repels most people. When you are too desperate, you are thinking from a scarcity mindset where you need to cling onto any person who comes your way with the fear that you will not find anyone else. No one wants to feel that their significant other cannot function without them because this shows the person is too dependent on the person and on the relationship which is never healthy.

When Your Life Is Fabulous (With or Without Someone) – When you are living your very best life, you are giving the right vibrations into the Universe to attract love into your life. You are doing it naturally without any forced effort. This could mean that you are pursuing your passions, furthering your education, striving in your career, and/or surrounded by an amazing social circle of friends and family who adore you. People want to be with someone who is not only in a great place in their own lives but that will bring their lives UP–not down. If you are a broke bum living in your friend’s basement with a negative attitude about life and can’t get your $%^& together–no offense but why would someone naturally be interested in starting a relationship with you? You need to be very conscientious of your life decisions and create a clear path of intrinsic happiness. From there, you will notice that you will start attracting higher quality people into your life including potentially attracting your soulmate.

3 Goal Setting Mistakes to Avoid If You Want to Achieve All Your Goals

Generally speaking, if you are conscientious about making goal setting a priority as a stepping stone in achieving your goals, then you are on the right path. However, there are definitely some common mistakes that are made that could actually set you back although your intentions might be in the right place. Here are a few common mistakes that you should recognize and find ways to improve so that your goal setting skills can actually lead to the best results.

Your Goals Are Not Specific Enough – It is easy to make some general goals without any true substance. A classic one is, “I want to live a healthier lifestyle.” Again, that sounds great but that is just too general of a goal to even mean anything or be measurable. If you can map out exactly what “living a healthier lifestyle” entails, then you are moving in the right direction. It is important to take the time to really break down very concise ways to make this achievable. This could include a set of mini goals that can lead to your main goal.

Not Believing in Your GoalsYour mindset truly dictates every area of your life. If you have goals but do not take them seriously in which you do not believe that they are even achievable then what do you expect? You need to BELIEVE in order to ACHIEVE. The sky is truly the limit but you need to believe in your potential. If you do not, then you will stay stagnant and not move any closer to fulfilling your goals.

Failing to Take Any Action - Many people think about things that they want but it is pie in the sky if you expect the goals to manifest themselves without any effort. The Universe does not work like that. You need to stay focused on your goals by taking the action steps that are needed to get closer to them. Most things in life do require work and do not come handed to you which is why you need to take action daily and you will be able to achieve anything that you want.

Turning Your Resolutions Into Realities – Goal Setting Strategies for 2024

Did you really think that I would let January go by without talking about setting goals in the new year? (I didn’t think so! 😉 ) While we should be setting goals on a daily basis, the beginning of the new year is a good opportunity to acknowledge your achievements from the previous year while reassessing what goals and/or changes you would like to make in the new year. The truth of the matter is, without making conscientious and concrete goals or thinking about your true desires, you are most likely not going to get too far and end up staying stagnant throughout life. Personally, I believe life is all about progression and taking action in order to obtain everything that you want to manifest. There are absolutely ways to turn your resolutions into realities and it is up to you to make it happen!  So let’s get started…

Write a Detailed List of Everything You Want to Achieve - It is essential to really think about what you want in your life and determine the direction your life is heading. Does that mean expanding your business or running your first marathon? The sky is the limit when it comes to your goals so make sure you visualize what you want and to then take the time to write everything down with as much detail as possible. I suggest writing down your goals on an index card or in a journal so you can hold yourself accountable and look back on them for reference. You can also track your progress and check off once you completed a goal.

Examine Your Habits and Change Them in Alignment with Your Goals – This is a crucial step but one that is often overlooked. Your habits shape your action and will dictate whether or not your goals are attainable. If you currently have habits that are hindering you from reaching your end goal, then you really need to focus on shifting your habits and changing them so they will ensure that you can achieve all your goals.

Apply Deadlines and Break your Goals Down Into Smaller Goals – It is a good idea to fine tune your goals and figure out the time frame in which you would like to fulfill them along with looking at whether or not you can break down your main goal into mini goals. The mini goals can then be looked at as stepping stones to your main goal. Oftentimes you need to break your goals down into more achievable goals in order to move closer towards the big goal. Some of the most worthwhile and valuable things in life could take a very long time to manifest which is why it is good to celebrate those little achievements along the way.

Happy 2024! – And My First Real Christmas Tree of 2023

For starters, happy 2024! I had every intention of writing my last post for the year during the last week of 2023 to essentially just wish everyone a happy holiday but I just never got around to it in which I will make up for it now in my first post of 2024. The end of the year is always the busiest time for me because not only do I have Christmas followed by my birthday on December 28th, and then ending the year with New Year’s Eve–I also now have my wedding anniversary to add into the celebration mix and my husband’s birthday as well. It was really surreal celebrating our one year wedding anniversary at the end of 2023 because my wedding day still feels like yesterday! I honestly have no idea what happened to 2023 as it was probably one of the fastest years of my life. I do believe that having a spouse to share life with not only makes life that much more enjoyable but it does make time accelerate even faster than it already did previously.

Aside from the year going fast, I have to say that this past holiday season was not only one of my favorites but also one of the most memorable. I have always wanted to have a real Christmas tree and was thrilled to get one this year as it was also our first year celebrating the holidays in our new home. It is times like these that you can really appreciate the little joys in life and how something as simple as getting a Christmas tree can bring happiness.

As we end 2023 and start the new year, let’s take this time to focus on our goals for the upcoming year while still taking the time to be present and enjoy our life as it unfolds. Remember that your mindset if what directs the path of your life so make sure that you keep it positive, strong, dedicated, conscientious, and so much more! 😉

Why Some People Are Better at Manifesting Their Desires Better Than Others

The concept of manifesting has been around for quite some time and many people do it whether they are consciously aware of it or not. I think there are many reasons as to why some people are excellent at it while there are many people who are not able to manifest what they want at all. From my own personal experience, I feel as though I am a manifestation master which is why I like to write about it because I want to help people manifest everything that they want and more. I can further elaborate on ways to strengthen your manifesting skills and develop a closer relationship to The Universe.

Determine Your Desires as Concisely as Possible – Many people talk on the surface about what they want. “I want to be rich. I want to be successful. I want to find love.” Okay, that’s great–I think these are all goals that most people strive for; however, the real question is: HOW DO YOU DEFINE THESE THINGS? What does “rich” or “success” even mean to you? What exactly are you looking for when you are finding love? Many people are so out of touch with what they truly want and do not take the time to soul search and determine exactly what they are hoping to receive. Think about it: If you are not specific about your desires, how do you expect the Universe to provide you with what you want? This is why you need to really be concise as to what you are looking for.

Patience is Part of the Process – I think the biggest mistake is that many people give up on their desires if they do not receive it immediately. Unfortunately, we live in a world that thrives on instant gratification but that is NOT how the Universe works. While there are some things that will manifest quicker than others, it is important to remember that generally speaking, the process of getting to the end goal takes time. Do not get discouraged or lose hope! Be patient and know that the Universe will provide you everything that you want because we live in an abundant world where this is enough of everything for everyone.

Do Not Get Jealous of What Others Have and Focus on What YOU DO HAVE – There is no need to compare yourself to someone else because every individual is on their very own unique spiritual path. The time in which they received something might vary from you and it is important for you to acknowledge that. If you focus on what you do not have and feel jealous about something someone else has, this creates a scarcity mindset which will hinder you from turning your desires into realities. You need to channel your focus on the great things that you already have in order to continue to attract more abundance into your life. If you waste your energy on thinking about what you are lacking, you are telling the Universe that you are ungrateful and undeserving of what you want.

Eliminate Any Doubts and Believe in Your Desires – It is natural to feel moments of doubt or to feel as though your manifestations will never come true. If you do not believe in what you want, why would the Universe give you these things? If you think that negatively towards your goals, then they most likely won’t happen because of the negative thoughts and energy you are putting out to the Universe which will ultimately prevent you from taking the action steps that are needed on your part. Your desires should put a smile on your face and bring you happy feelings. If they do not, it might be a good idea to reevaluate what you want along with how badly you want those things.

Reevaluating the “American Dream” – What Are YOUR Dreams?

Many people have the desire to fulfill the “American dream” which might include buying a house with a white picket fence and finding a career path that guarantees a lot of money. It could also include being married with a family. We live in a world where we feel the need to conform to societal norms and with social media platforms of people living their best lives at all times. The reality is, life is not designed to be perfect and the societal expectations of how life should be might not be everyone’s destiny–and there is nothing wrong with that! It is important to recognize that we should not feel the need to be doing what everyone else appears to be doing and evaluate our own dreams. Your dreams might not entail going to college or getting married or owning a house. If your dreams are to have these things, also remember that it could take many years for your dreams to manifest into realities. This requires a good amount of patience on your part along with a deep mental focus and a high level of trust that you have a bright future ahead of you. Everything truly does start with your mental state so keep it a positive one!

What are your dreams? – It is essential to really think about what you want from your life and to establish what your desires are. The more defined and concrete that your dreams are, the more likely it is that you will find the path to achieve them. I recommend not only to think about them but to write them on paper or on an index card. While some might think this is a waste of time, this extra step can make a big difference by keeping you accountable, focused, and serious about what you want to accomplish. Even if your dreams seem out of reach at the present moment, you should write them down anyway! As I mentioned previously, your dreams might not even be in alignment with the “American dream” but at the end of the day, you need to live your life authentically and be as true to yourself as possible if you want to be happy and feel fulfilled. You have one life to live and it is up to you to determine what makes it meaningful and manifest your own dreams.
