It’s Okay to Miss But Know When to DISMISS – How to Mentally Cope With a Breakup

I understand that breakups are not always an easy reality to face and it does not matter whether you were the one who broke it off or the one who was let go as it can be a tough adjustment either way. If you were the one who was dumped, I recognize it can be especially sad, painful, and difficult to move on. It is natural to miss the person and want to know what they are up to but at the same time, you need to know when it is time to DISMISS the person (aka let them go completely) in order for you to move forward and open the door to a better future. This can only happen once you have emotionally detached yourself from your past and I am here to tell you that you absolutely can and all it takes is a mental shift in your mindset.

“I can’t believe my ex moved on so fast and I was replaced so easily.” – For starters, there is no need to take things this personally. When you feel good about yourself from within, this is the last thing that should ever cross your mind as you already know that you are of high value. In addition, be happy that your ex found happiness with someone else even if that means that person is not you. It might feel hurtful thinking of them with another person but if you truly care about this person, you should genuinely be rooting for their happiness. (On a slightly different note, you should also not be so fixated on what they are doing and what’s going on in their personal life, stay in your own lane and focus on your personal path to happiness).

“I wish my ex was willing to make things work.” – Listen, you need to think of it as a blessing that you were let go because it is not worth it to be with someone who does not see what you have to offer nor has the desire to be with you. STOP wasting your time! If it didn’t work the first time or however many times you tried, chances are that it never was going to work out again in the long run so stop holding onto a false hope that there is a chance of getting back together. If anything, you should be THANKFUL this person is not stringing you along and broke it off to save YOUR time because time is one of life’s most valuable assets.

“I’m never going to find someone like my ex.”Are you kidding me? With so many people in this Universe, there’s absolutely no one to date? Yeah right, I don’t think that’s the case at all! Yes, I know that getting back into the dating world can be a process and it is not always easy to find someone to connect with romantically–however, that is not to say that you will never find someone to date again. I would suggest taking some time to enjoy being single first and allow for enough time for you to mentally detach yourself from your ex and then you can try to meet people again. Often times you’ll find that love will find you when you least expect it and when you are spiritually open and ready for it!

Final Note: At the end of the day, people come and go and that’s a part of life. Not everyone who we meet or date is meant to hold a place in our lives for the long haul and that’s totally okay! It is also okay to reminisce and reflect on the positive memories but at the same time, be prepared to fully dismiss this person and begin a new chapter in your life. I don’t know about you but personally, I think it is way more exciting to think about how the next chapter of life is going to unfold as opposed to getting stuck in an old chapter or reliving a chapter that doesn’t provide a positive outcome. Plus, best of all–you are the one creating it so let’s make this next chapter an AMAZING one! πŸ˜‰

5 Ways to Improve Your Manifestation Skills

I would have to say that the practice of manifestation is a life skill and having the ability to manifest the things that you desire most is not something you are necessarily taught in school which is why it is essential you teach yourself how to master manifestation. The good news is that anyone can develop the mindset to attract abundance and create everything you want in your lifetime. I want to make it clear that manifestation is NOT an instant gratification process. If you understand this simple principle then you are on the right path and will never be left feeling defeated or disappointed but instead, more motivated, invigorated, and determined. When one begins to lose hope, that is when the process tends to deteriorate. Weak minds are not meant to manifest great things as it takes a strong and positive mindset to do the internal work. So where do we begin?

Be Extremely Specific As to What You Want – People make very general statements as to what they want such as, “I want a big house, nice car, and lots of money.” These are all requests that are way too general. What exactly does a “big house” mean to you specifically? Such as: how many square feet, location, type of house, amount of land, interior style, etc. It is important to think on a more concrete level and to determine the exact details. Even if some of your requests seem very far fetched and out of reach right now, WHO CARES!?! Ask for it anyhow! As they say, “go big or go home” and shouldn’t we all opt to go BIG when it comes to our own life? Of course it is smart to be realistic but that does not mean that you need to limit yourself as to what you can get only right now–think about what you can obtain in your future.

Create Visuals – Although for some, this might be an optional step as you can visualize the outcome in your mind, I do think having a tangible visual (ex: vision board, visuals in a journal, etc.) is helpful because looking at a visual on a daily basis will allow for the visual to stay in the back of your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is very powerful in that it will not really accept anything that does not match up with what you are trying to manifest. You can print visuals from the internet, find images in magazines, and if you’re artistic and fully capable of making them yourself–then go for it (again, why not? as it is about whatever method works best for you).

* If you do not have actual images of what you are looking to manifest, I consider writing down concrete statements on an index card to be just as effective. It is still tangible where you can read it everyday so this works on its own OR in combination with the visuals.

Believe It Is 100% Possible – It is 100% critical to develop the belief that the outcome is 100% possible. I don’t care if the people around you think it’s impossible or if currently there are factors to hinder you from what you want right now because NOTHING SHOULD STOP YOU! You control your mind which gives you the power to control your destiny! Don’t give people that power and don’t let there be any room for doubt to create a mental road block of preventing you from achieving what is most certainly POSSIBLE and getting in the way of your full POTENTIAL.

Take Action – One can’t just ask for anything from the Universe and then sit back and do absolutely nothing about it. Manifestation is NOT about wanting something and then expecting it to fall onto your lap. That is what I call, “Pie in the sky.” I think that is what deters many people from this whole idea of having the ability to manifest because they have this false belief that it is like a genie in a bottle where you ask for a wish and it just happens. That is why I want to clarify that this is not how it works because asking without doing is going to leave you with a whole lot of nothing but false hope and unfilled desires. Once you make it crystal clear your intent and what you want, you need to actually put in the work to make it happen. It might take an incredible amount of small actions to get to the end goal but any action is better than no action.

Trust the Process – You are where you are meant to be at this present moment in your life. Everyday you are getting a step closer to turning your dreams into realities. Rather than asking, “Am I there yet?” or “Is this ever going to happen?” which insinuate a lack of trust and uncertainty, you need to TRUST THE PROCESS and believe that, “Yes, it is happening” and “I am doing whatever it takes to get what I want” because again, action is required to propel the results. Learn to enjoy the journey rather than question the process because everything you want is in the works! πŸ˜‰

Why Going Back to An Ex Has A Negative Impact On Your Spiritual Path and Self Development

A friend had asked me a few days ago, “Do you miss any of your exes and wish you could go back to any of them?” Without a hint of hesitation, my response was, “Absolutely, NOT.” Does this make me a cold hearted individual? No, not at all. I look at it like this: The past needs to stay in the past. Life should be progressing forward. In order to spiritually grow and create a brighter future for yourself, the ship needs to sail to a new destination (in this case, a new relationship or happily single to work on yourself also applies here too).

You can still appreciate what the relationship brought to you at that moment and I encourage you to do so. With the good times, there were also life lessons. I never regret any of my previous relationships because that is what the Universe attracted into my life during that time and even though it did not last forever, it still served a purpose. No matter the duration, I never look at it as “wasted time” and no one should ever view it that way. Do you look at your previous jobs as wasted time if you did not stay at one company the entire time? No, of course not because this is what you choose to be a part of your life experience and most people explore multiple job opportunities within their career path.

Relationships shape you as an individual but they also prepare you for someone even better. Yes, you heard me. Your future is going to be far more superior than your past. In order for that scenario to play out, you need to believe that with every ounce of your soul (not just because I said you so) along with taking the ACTION needed to make that happen for yourself. This means completely letting go of your past without leaving any open doors for an ex to creep back in–unfortunately, we all know there are many desperate and needy people out there who try to knock on the door for another chance. This also means having the mental strength to not want to revisit the past either. In other words, it goes both ways. You have to shut the door but you also have to have the burning desire to want to start over with a clean slate. If you are despairingly in search of finding a new partner simply to replace your ex when your mind is still not over the last person you dated, then you clearly have not taken the definitive action that is needed to clear your past.

Whether you broke it off or they did or maybe it was mutual, cut your losses and move on with your life. Trust me, it is for the greater good for everyone because each person can grow from the experience and move onto a new life path. Personally, I find it exciting to know what the future will bring than to ever even consider pursuing a failed relationship. If it did not work out the first time, what is the point in going back? For security? Convenience? Comfort? Lack of belief that there is a better suited match? People tend to go back for the wrong reasons, settle for less than they deserve, and/or stay attached to a false hope that they will reunite with an ex. In certain situations, I think there is room for optimism but the majority of time, it just isn’t worth it. Remember, as I often like to quote from Frank Sinatra’s famous song title, “The best is yet to come.” You just have not experienced it just yet but keep your mind open to the possibilities because the Universe will make it happen (this does not only apply to love, it applies to everything in life!)–Trust the process and you shall receive its greatest gifts! πŸ˜‰

100 E-mail Followers (Thank You) – The Importance of Acknowledging the Small Milestones in Life

I do not remember the exact date but I happened to notice sometime last week that I have over 100 e-mail subscribers at the present moment. I just looked again now as I started to write this post and I have 107 to be exact (FYI, I only know two of these people in real life). This is a small milestone that I think is important to acknowledge because I realize there are thousands (perhaps millions) of other bloggers in this world and I am a small fish in a big sea of content. I started this blog less than a year ago during the height of the pandemic as it was a writing project that I always wanted to pursue and I knew it would manifest organically when the time was right in my life. Last spring I found myself like many others quarantined at home out of safety and it was this ample amount of isolation and solitude that provided me the mental space and spiritual energy to put towards the creation of this blog–something that adds meaning to my life and hopefully can add value to the lives of my readers as this has always been my ultimate goal.

[A huge thank you to everyone who is a loyal reader and to the ones who might have stumbled upon this at random and were able to get something out of it. I appreciate it beyond words as I do find a sense of purpose behind what I do and see this not only as a hobby but also as part of my life’s work to inspire, uplift, and help people through my words and inner thoughts].

I believe in the expression, “Rome was not built in a day.” While many find themselves chasing instant gratification, I always will appreciate the longer road to the final destination because I believe that hard work is often needed along with time, diligence, and patience. We need to find ways to value the journey and all the small milestones along the way because they surely do add up over time. Some things in life might come rather instantly while others are in the works and are in the manifestation process. It is for this reason that you should continue to persistently put in the hard work that is needed to achieve your goals while also remembering to trust the process. There is no need to rush as the right things will come along when the time is right. (So do not forget to appreciate the small things as they will often lead to bigger and better things in the future and sometimes when you least expect it). πŸ˜‰

A Time to Reflect – What I Do on Every New Year’s Day

For starters, happy new year! πŸ™‚ The years go by so fast that it is really hard to believe a new year is upon us. The year 2020 was a year that presented many challenges but on the positive side, we can all learn very much from these challenges. It took many of us out of our comfort zones which I do not view as a bad thing because this tests our inner strength and can only make us stronger. I am not dismissing the fact that 2020 was a rough year on so many of us but just acknowledging that we can still find good things rather than only focus on the negatives.

New Year’s Day for me is a time of solitude and reflection. This is not to say that I stay isolated all day as I am sure I can recall previous years where I was surrounded by others on New Year’s Day but more often than not, I usually find a good portion of the day to just be by myself. I find that it is calming and it spiritually energizes me to look at where I am today while focusing on where I want to be tomorrow. Whether it is a new year or not, I always want to be progressing in life and if I am going to fall, I’m surely going to fall forward.

I also take the time on New Year’s Day to write a letter to myself. I cannot recall when exactly I started this New Year’s tradition but I am going to say this started at least ten years ago by this point. It is never a long letter but I tend to write about where I am at that moment on that day and also write where I predict I will be a year later. I find it really interesting to read the letter a year later because it captures that moment in time while also seeing how much changes from year-to-year. Although many areas of my life stay relatively stable, I do find my life from one year to the next can be rather unpredictable. (Ex: I think we can all agree that there was no way we could have predicted that we would be living through a pandemic right now).

Although many people might not be too fond of writing, I recommend taking some time out of your day to write a New Year’s letter to yourself. You can write about anything such as where you are right now in life, what you see in your future, and whatever is of relevance to you at the present moment. There are no specific guidelines as to how to do this as this is a personal letter that you are writing to yourself and for no one else to read (personally–I never share the letter with anyone). After you write the letter, you can seal it and store it in a safe place to not be opened until January 1st, 2022. I find the thought of what the first day of the year 2022 is hard for me to fathom right now but it is intriguing thinking about next year on the first day of the current new year.

You Attract What You Believe You Deserve – Why You Need to Set the Bar High at All Times

Whether people realize it or not, many life experiences that we attract were manifested from the core of our beliefs. Someone who is very positive and loves their life often feel that way because they genuinely believe they have an amazing life to live. Their life isn’t exceptional by chance or because this person was more lucky than someone else. They recognize that they have the capacity to create their own luck by naturally gravitating towards the things that they love along with developing a “sky’s the limit” mindset in which anything they want is within their reach. Even people who were not born into the most ideal life situations have the power to change their destiny and still work towards living a grand life. Often times, you will actually see that the people who experienced much misfortune in their youth end up being the most determined and successful people out in the world. One might wonder, how is it possible to make a dramatically positive switch in life when it was so bad to begin with? As I point out, time and time again, it really starts with your mind first. Not mine (and not anyone else’s) because as much as I can preach this to you, if you do not actually take it seriously, then it will never hold any value or meaning.

It is for this reason that you need to set the bar high at all times. No matter what your current situation is or how unrealistic at the moment it is to ask for what you’re asking for, it is important to believe that you are capable of obtaining it in order to begin the process of manifesting it. When you believe you deserve the very best, you keep attracting the very best and in abundance. There really is no such thing as setting the bar too high in my book! Even if it appears to be far fetched right now, that does not mean it can never happen. Why? The reason being that your beliefs shift your focus into making this a reality. Let’s repeat that: Your beliefs shift your focus into making this a reality.

The same also applies to your personal relationships. If you set the bar high in this department and are crystal clear as to the relationship that you want to be in, trust me–you will not be settling for the players, manipulators, etc. because not only is it transparent that they bring nothing to the table but you also believe you deserve the very best when love is concerned. You are not giving your heart out to just anyone, nor why should you? Setting the bar high in your personal life might mean that you are left single for quite awhile but just remember that it is for the greater good and there is certainly nothing wrong with not wanting to settle. Not to mention that some of the greatest things in life are always worth waiting for.

3 Ways to Become Emotionally Attached to Your Goals and Why It’s Important

If you set goals that you do not really care much about, I can safely bet that you are not very likely to achieve them. If you have a feeling of indifference towards the goal in which you do not have any emotional attachment towards or you truly believe it is unattainable, then chances are the accomplished goal will never manifest. This is why it is extremely important to form an emotional attachment towards your goals. When you become emotionally invested and actually attached to the goals that you set, you will automatically be thinking about them regularly and as you know, your deepest thoughts become things and manifest over time. That is the beauty of the Laws of Attraction, it really does work when you feed your mind with your desires and an abundance of positivity on a daily basis in order to propel you to take the action needed to magnetize what you want most. It is never too late in your life to spiritually strengthen your mindset and start attracting everything you ask for in this Universe. [Remember, we live in a world of abundance (even during times when it might not feel that way). Everything you are desiring right now is on its way, more specifically the goals that you emotionally attach yourself to. The Universe might have a stronger control of determining the when but YOU are in full control of your mind by determining the what].

So how do you become emotionally attached to your goals? For starters, how badly do you want these things? What are the sacrifices you are willing to make to achieve them? How much are you willing to step out of your comfort zone for the greater good of manifesting your dreams? Are you willing to fail in order to succeed? These are some of the prerequisite questions you need to think about prior to really setting your mind to something you want to achieve. Again, if your goal is not something you truly want or something that your mind could stay fixated on, then you won’t get to the end goal. There is nothing wrong with that, it just means that you need to really dig deep and think about what it is that you would like to accomplish in place of it. Once you do a little soul searching to figure out your goals, there are ways to now bond an emotional attachment towards them.

Write Down Specific Goals and Read Them Every Day – I cannot stress the importance of writing down your goals as detailed as possible and then actually taking the time to read them–otherwise out of sight, out of mind. Storing them in your mind is great but having a tangible index card or journal in which your goals are written down to be read is even more beneficial because it keeps you focused on them and eventually you become obsessed–aka emotionally attached. This is a good thing as it should also ignite some excitement and evoke positive emotions from within to really attain them.

Visualize It Happening Right Now and Focus on How Good You Will Feel Once It is Accomplished – If you visualize yourself experiencing the outcome of your goal, it should make you feel amazing. Maybe the process of getting there might not feel that way but once you achieve it, it should bring you ultimate bliss–so stay focused on that blissful feeling of the end result. When you envision yourself fully embracing your dreams, your mind will find ways to turn this into an actual reality because you already planted the seed in your mind that this is how your life is going to unfold. These positive emotions towards your goal will keep you emotionally attached.

Appreciate Every Little Step You Are Taking to Fulfill Your Goal – In other words, embrace the journey and genuinely cherish any minor accomplishment or stepping stone that was taken to manifest your goal. It is crucial to feel a deep sense of gratitude every step of the way. The Universe will shower you with abundance simply by practicing gratitude and being thankful. Being conscious of every moment, action, and experience associated with achieving your goal will naturally keep you emotionally attached to the point where quitting is not even an option because nothing is stopping you from reaching the end result.

Your Strongest Mentality IS the Reality No Matter What Anyone Else Thinks

Ever think about what exactly shapes your reality? You can meet someone who appears to be less fortunate than yourself yet they still possess such a positive mentality which then ultimately equates to their reality being a rather good one despite how it might look on the surface or to an outsider. For example, over the weekend I saw on the news a young girl (not sure her age but she could have been anywhere between 16-20 years old) who was interviewed explaining how ecstatic she was to obtain a job at a restaurant. I know your initial thought might be, “That is not such a big deal where she should be featured on the news for it, it is not like she received a job that required much education or was of a high status. Just about anyone can pick up a job at a restaurant rather easily.” However, she was homeless her entire life so this was actually a substantial deal and a turning point in her life as most places would not have even given her the opportunity to interview because she was homeless without any credentials that she could even put on a resume. The employer who also was interviewed had explained that she could relate to the girl as she knows what it is like to be homeless and not being able to find a job. It was actually quite touching to watch this small news segment because it goes to show that a strong mentality is your reality.

It really does not matter where you came from or how much you have or don’t have at this present moment in time. What matters most is that you continue to keep your mentality strong so that you can continue to work towards the things you want to achieve while also being able to manage the curve balls life throws your way. When life provides you challenges, you cannot take it as a moment to bring you down and shake your reality into a negative one. You need to internalize that there is a greater good at the end along with also knowing that ‘this too shall pass.’

The same goes for when someone tries to put you down or tell you that you’re not enough or whatever the negative thought might be. Just because that is what they think does NOT mean it has any validity whatsoever or that it has to cloud your reality. This is a situation in which you just need to let it go in one ear and out the other. Why? What is there to gain from putting your energy towards negative energy? A huge, NO THANK YOU! Again, if you have a strong mentality then as I said, that IS your reality–no one can change that because you are in full control of your mind! πŸ˜‰ No one can break you down because you keep your head up high and pay no peace of mind to the negativity. So stay in control by being mindful of your mentality in order to live your very best reality!

A Setback is Actually Life’s Way of Creating a Set Up

Have you ever encountered what appeared to be a setback in your life? You might not have gotten a job you wanted or an opportunity that you were striving for at the current moment. While many might experience feelings of frustration, negativity, sadness, or even anger–this is a time to stay positive and shift your mindset to the idea that a better opportunity will be knocking on your door at a later time and when the time is right for you. In order for this to happen though, the key is that you need to actually believe in this! You need to understand that the Universe is full of abundance and when one door closes (or in this case never opened), that there are plenty of open doors on the horizon (whoever said there can only be one πŸ˜‰ –there is no need to limit yourself).

I know in the present moment, it can be hard to think and feel this way. You might feel a deep sense of emptiness which is normal and it is totally justified to feel that way but it is up to you to hold those feelings only temporarily. Meaning that they will eventually go away and that you cannot allow them to stay permanently because then you will continue to cloud your mind with more negativity and mental setbacks to prevent you from manifesting life’s many set ups that are in store for you. So let’s trust the Universe and stay positive in order to keep the doors open for more setups to come, shall we? πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚

People Who Are Connected to the Universe Believe in These 3 Principles

I can tell a lot about someone based on how they talk about their lives and specifically how spiritually connected they are to the Universe. On the surface, there are some people who come off as extremely lucky. It is not that these people are more lucky than someone else, they are just more spiritually connected to the Universe. They believe in certain principles that bring them everything that they want. I guess you can say they create their own luck but I believe it goes beyond that. Their luck stems from the depth of their spirituality paired with a strong, positive mindset, not so much at random or by coincidence despite it appearing that way. It is never too late to become more spiritual so even if you don’t believe in these things at the present moment, you can start to adapt them at any time.

Trust the Process / Everything is in its Right Place – People who are deeply connected to the Universe are always under the understanding that everything is in its right place in their current place of time. In other words, what is meant to be will be. Even during unfortunate times, they recognize that they need to experience that in order to get to the greater good. They don’t hold regrets about anything they experience in their lives because it shapes their inner being and they know everything that happens has a purpose–both the good and the bad.

The Universe is Full of Abundance – The Universe has endless opportunities and provides abundance for everyone who believes in this principle. This is why people who are spiritually connected to the Universe are never bent regarding a lost job or a failed relationship along with anything they no longer have or have just yet. They know that opportunities will come and go but that there are many to go around. There is no reason to be jealous of someone else’s abundance because there are unlimited opportunities for everyone. Rather than feeling sorry for themselves for not having something that someone else has, they congratulate them and know that they will get everything that they want as well because the Universe is the gift that keeps on giving.

Be Grateful For Everything You Currently Have While Always Striving for More – People who are connected to the Universe are some of the most grateful individuals you will ever meet in this world. Even if they do not have much, they are still grateful for the little things they do have. They never focus on the things they lack but invest their energy on all the things they are grateful for having which attracts more abundance into their lives. Even those who have obtained a lot do not take it for granted and are thankful to the Universe for providing them everything that they want. They also deeply believe in this: Everything they want is on its way. πŸ˜‰ It doesn’t have to be tomorrow, they know all good things are worth waiting for and it goes back to the first principle, they trust the process in which they are in the process of receiving their deepest desires.
